What Is The Scandal?

11m cars worldwide, have been installed with devices that effectively “cheat” crucial emissions tests.

The global car manufacturer is facing criminal investigations and claims for damages after millions of cars have been sold with the promise that that they would produce much lower emissions than they actually did. The ‘defeat devices’ used in emissions tests could detect whether a vehicle was being tested and manipulated the results.

As a result of the emissions scandal, VW has announced that it’s suspending the sale of 4,000 vehicles in the UK and is set to announce a series of recalls of affected vehicles.

We are currently working with people who have been affected by the Volkswagen car emission scandal.
